I am most passionate about, and least practiced in boudoir photography, but my aim is to one day make it my main focus where booking shoots is concerned. For now it’s a passion project looking for new clients to complete my portfolio and enhance my skills in this department.
I started my professional career in 2016 working primarily with babies and newborns. This is one of my favorite things to do because babies aren’t shy to try new and interesting ideas. They are cute no matter what, so you can never fail doing a shoot with these little angels.
It can sometimes be intimidating to shoot people when you start out, so for a long-long time, I focused on landscapes because you didn’t need permission to shoot them all day long. My strength is during the daylight hours, but I’m working on night shoots as well.
When I started embracing my love of art in a professional way, I focused on photography. It had my fascination from an early age. I launched Sarah Ella Photography in 2016, but because of other personal factors I put it off soon after I started. During that time I gained a lot of knowledge working with subjects, lighting and camera and editing tools to create lasting memories for families. I gained several repete, satisfied customers during that time as well.
I went back to school in the fall of 2017 and in June 2020 I completed my Business Administration ATA degree and my AFA in Graphic Design, both with High Distinction from Everett Community College in Everett, WA. I work both in graphic design, photography, and holiday decor.
Where photography is concerned, I am taking clients for newborn sessions, boudoir sessions, senior portraits, maternity and engagement photography.
